PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition device which presents versatility and works with a light cutting method not bringing about shortening of the lifetime of a belonging light projecting means. SOLUTION: Light projection from a light source onto a work started with a measuring command is kept on until the stop adjusting motion of an automatic stop adjusting mechanism of a TV camera goes in convergence, or until a condition equivalent to the convergence is accomplished, and immediately after, an image processing device performs a processing to acquire the three- dimensional shape data about the work on the basis of the image photographed by the TV camera. |
