PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple power transmission switching mechanism for a camera capable of switching the drive of a plurality of system gear trains by a single forward/backward rotating motor with a small number of components. SOLUTION: The power transmission switching mechanism for the camera capable of switching a driving system by one reversely rotatable motor to a plurality of output gear trains is provided with the reversely rotatable motor 7, a switching carrier 1 using the motor 7 as a drive source and supporting a planetary gear 2, fixing shafts 18a and 18b, a locking lever 14 having a locking part 14b and three output gears 11, 12 and 13. The switching carrier 1 is turned and stopped at three turning positions by the fixing shafts 18a and 18b or the locking part 14b. At each stopping position, one of the output gars 11, 21 and 13 and the planetary gear 2 are engaged with each other. Thus, one selected output gear can be driven. |
