PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a high bonding force of a core with a metal piece which should be established through compression using a compressive die, by performing the compression bit by bit in a plurality of runs of compressing operation from the open end of the metal piece toward the other end. SOLUTION: An FRP core 1 is fitted in a recess 3 provided in a grasping metal piece 2 having an open end 2a, and the two members 1 and 2 are bonded together by compressing them concentrically using a compressive die 4. The width of the die 4 should be half the total compression part L, and the bonding process take place through compressing bit by bit in two runs of operation from the side with open end 2a. Each run of compressing operation is performed by applying a compressive force concentrically to the peripheral surface of the grasping piece 2. In this divided compressing operation, it is preferred that the pressure is increased gradually from the open end 2a toward the other end. |
