Alkyl oligo-glucoside surfactant giving good viscosity and colour in cleansing agents

Use is claimed of surfactants in rinsing and cleansing agents of alkyl oligo-glucosides which have a high degree of oligomerisation (DP) and a polyglucose content below 5 wt. % and which are produced by acetalisation using fatty alcohols and sugars, the acetalisation also including (partial) neutralisation of the catalyst and a final post-polymerisation.
