Testing stability of pallets with test load applied on pallet

The test method includes the fixed holding of the pallet (2). Bending or torsional loadings are applied on the free regions of the pallet and the deflection of the pallet at a free region is measured. An side edge of the pallet is held fixed, and on the opposite-lying free edge a transverse force is exerted. The pallet is held at two adjacent sides one behind the other. The pallet is held fixed at three corners, and a transverse force is exerted on the free fourth corner. The holding is varied and the deflection at all four corners is measured successively. Four pairs of pressure plungers (4,6) are acted on by a pressure medium, to exert a holding or a deflection force. One measuring unit (8) at least is provided for measuring the deflection.
