Removable plug connector for forming safety contact for electrical equipment e.g. lights

The connector has a cable shoe (1) with a latching element (17) on the end of an earthing cable and forming the removable, movable part of the plug connector. A contact element forming the counter part to the removable cable shoe part is attached to the equipment to be protected. The contact element (31) is formed in one piece with the part (3) of the equipment to be protected by being machined out of its surface as a recess corresp. to the shape of the leading part of the cable shoe. The cable shoe has stop shoulders and the latching element protrudes beyond these by a distance corresp. to the depth of the recess.
