<p>The hinge consists of a mobile section (1) attached to the edge of the opening panel (2) and turning about a pivot (4) in relation to a fixed plate (3). The mobile section of the hinge incorporates a spring-loaded roller (12) which engages with notches (13a,b,c) in a block (13) fastened to the fixed hinge plate by a tongue (15) fitted into an adjustable strip (16) at the back of the plate. The engagement of the roller with the notches enables the door to be set stably in opened and closed positions. The roller is made from metal, and the adjustment of the plate allows the effort required to move the door between positions to be varied.</p> |
