<p>A sealing device for sealing a space between two sealing surfaces (18, 20) comprises a sealing body (4) which is adapted to be compressed in the space while being forced against the sealing surfaces. At least one of the sealing surfaces is constituted by a rough surface having pores, holes and cavities, for example a concrete surface. The sealing body comprises a soft material (10, 12) which is adapted subsequently to the compression of the sealing device in the space to engage and to be forced against the rough surface by the elastomeric material while filling out the pores, holes and cavities of the surface.
