<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake which can certainly prevent misinstallation of a friction pad to callipers, allows enhancement of the reliance upon the quality, etc., to a great extent, and ensures enhancement of the producibility of the friction pad. SOLUTION: A pin hole 30 in long shape stretching in the longitudinal direction of a friction pad 25 is formed in a locking part 27A provided protrusively at the outer end of the friction pad 25. The two ends of a supporting pin 34 are attached between callipers 21 on the inner side and the callipers on the outer side, and the axis O'-O' of the supporting pin 34 is offset by a dimensionδrelative to the center line A-A, and thereby the middle part of the pin 34 is inserted slidably in the pad 25 through the pin hole 30. When the shape, etc., of the pad 25 is to be changed, another pin hole in approx. circular shape so as to mate with the pin 34 is bored in such a way that its center lies on the center line A-A and is used in line of the pin hole 30, and thereby misinstallation of the friction pad relative to the callipers 21 is precluded.</p> |
