<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to strike a ball high with a long shaft club or make it possible to steady a ball and to strike a ball securely with a short shaft club. SOLUTION: Clubs are each provided with a head body 1, a shaft 3 mounted on the head body 1, and a straight section 3A extended from the end exposed from the head body 1 of the shaft 3 to the grip side in a substantially uniform diameter. The shaft 3 with the straight section 3A is provided with a tapered section 3B extended from the end of the straight section 3A to the grip side with a slightly increasing diameter. The shaft 3 without the straight section 3A is provided with a tapered section 3B extended from the end exposed from the head body 1 to the grip side with a slightly increasing diameter. Clubs make a set of only those with the shaft having the straight section 3A, or both of those with the straight section 3A and without the straight section 3A. The length of the straight section 3A is made substantially longer in order of the number of the shorter shaft 3 to the longer shaft 3.</p> |
