PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer and an ink jet print head wherein the frequency of occurrence of an image defect due to air bubbles is reduced significantly, the usage efficiency of ink to printing is improved, and the entire system is miniaturized. SOLUTION: An ink feeding member 11 is provided with an ink feeding section 21 leading from an ink channel pipe 13. The cross sectional area of the opening of the ink feeding section 21 is smaller than the area of the opening of a common liquid chamber 5, so the ink feeding section 21 communicates with only a part of the common liquid chamber 5. The flow velocity of ink in the ink feeding section 21 becomes faster. As ink flows toward the arrangement direction of nozzles 2 in the common liquid chamber 5, the cross sectional area in the flowing direction is small, making the flow velocity of ink fast. Therefore, air bubbles generated internally are accumulated near the end of the common liquid chamber 5 due to the flow of ink and are discharged easily by suction action. Thus remaining air bubbles can be reduced to a minimum. |
