PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee torque drop to keep its linear characteristic when traction control by fuel cut per cylinder is compensated by step by step delay control. SOLUTION: On the basis of wheel speed VW read in the step 22, and on the basis of slip quantity S (m, Ne , Tp ) separately on the address assigned by engine number of revolution Ne and a fuel injection quantity Tp in a delay quantity map per control mode m, in the step 23, slip variation quantityΔS (Ne , Tp ) between those modes of mutually same addresses is calculated. In the step 24 is calculated an ideal valveΔSi *(Ne , Tp ) for a slip variation quantity between those for setting the torque drop rate in relation to the control mode in a linear shape and in the step 25, the direction of a correcting delay quantity map value so as to makeΔS (Ne , Tp ) toΔS'* (Ne , Tp ) is determined and this correction is practiced in the step 30.
