<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately discriminate paddy detection by preventing erroneous detection by a paddy/brown rice discrimination sensor. SOLUTION: In this device, the position of the boundary between paddy and brown rice on a shaking separation plate 2 is detected by a paddy/brown rice discrimination sensor 6, and a brown rice partition plate 4 is adjusted and controlled with respect to the boundary detection. While the discharge side 2b of the shaking separation plate 2 is reciprocated in the cross direction, moisture absorbing wavelength light and reference wavelength light are originated to grains distributed on the plate surface. Then, a peak detection voltage values of the two wavelengths is made particle detection information, and the position of the peak detection voltage value detection of the peak detection voltage value is taken out to judge whether it is detection information of the selection plate 2 or detection information of particle of paddy and brown rice. And the separation plate detection information is excluded from the particle separation information to calculate the ratio of paddy to brown rice. Therefore, the separation plate detection data is excluded to perform the accurate discrimination between paddy and brown rice, and also data processing is simplified to improve processing capacity.</p> |
