To clean the inside of a barrel it is placed on a ramp (1). Rollers (3) rotate the barrel so that its opening faces the washing head (4), a side stop (2) positioning the barrel opening on the apparatus. The washing head is then introduced into the barrel by pressing on a foot pedal (5). Flow of cleaning liquid causes rotation of the washing head through 360 deg . The washing head is extracted from the barrel by light backward rotation on the rollers causing the washing head to descend as a result of its weight.
