PURPOSE:To enable the vulcanization molding of a large tire is easily achieved by making perfectly the steam dome style having a mold height-regulating device, while each part is sealed airtight, and the hot pressurized medium such as steam is prevented from leakage. CONSTITUTION:The upper dome 1 provided with an upper mold-fitting body is fixed to a twin type press, and the lower dome 2 provided with a lower mold-fitting body 4 is fixed to said press. Then the regulating device of mold height is constructed, and the upper mold-fitting body moves together up and down correspondingly to the mold height and further responses to the change of the mold height. A dome-locking ring 3 is integrally engaged to each connected and edge 1c, 2c of upper and lower both domes 1, 2. Packings 35, 40 are provided in following each part. That is to say, sealing is applied between the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the upper mold-fitting body and the upper dome 1, between the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the lower mold-fitting body 4 and the lower dome 2 and between each connected end edge 1c, 2c of the upper and lower domes 1, 2. Consequently the steam, etc., is prevented from leaking. |
