<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate turning-round and improve handling, by leading out the input of a sensor head and an output fiber, from one side of a package. SOLUTION: A fiber turnup part 8 whose radius of carvature is about 15mm is formed in the part where a single mode fiber 5 is just led out from a sensor head part 7. The head part 7 and the turnup part 8 are arranged in a package 9 made of glass or acryl. The turned-up fiber is led out to the outside together with a polarization holding fiber 4, from the single side end surface of the package 9. An input fiber and an output fiber which are led out from the package 9 are bundled by a tube 10 as far as the vicinity of a connector, and made easy to handle. By this structure, the turning-round of an optical fiber is facilitated, danger like damage of fiber is reduced, and arrangement space of a sensor is easily secured.</p> |
