PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a device halfway between manual and completely automated operation. SOLUTION: A servomotor 14 is provided in a device with a traveling part that is moved by manual operation torque, where the upper-limit value of torque generated by a servomotor that changes with current limitation is set larger than the mechanical system dyanamic friction of the traveling part and smaller than the mechanical system static friction of the traveling part by current limitation. Also, a measuring device has an axis that is moved by the servomotor 14.
