PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device with which a fault can be surely reported even when a maintenance person stays at any place. SOLUTION: When the fault is detected by respective sensors 1a and 1b provided at an institution, transmitters 2a and 2b transmit a fault generate signal through a public line 3 to a fault reporting computer 4, the fault reporting computer 4 analyzes the contents and factors of that fault from that fault generate signal, and a pocket beeper 5 carried with the maintenance person is called. At the same time, the position of fault generation, fault contents and fault factors are transmitted to a terminal computer 6 carried with the maintenance person corresponding to a data request signal from the terminal computer 6 so that the generation of fault can be surely reported even when the maintenance person stays at any place.
