摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high specific dielectric constant by incorporating a crystal having a composition expressed by a specified formula and having a crystalline structure expressed by a prescribed formula. SOLUTION: Li2 CO3 , Nb2 O5 and TiO2 being a starting powder is blended in a prescribed ratio and a solvent such as alcohol is added, and the mixture is subjected to wet-mixing, then the solvent is removed and pulverized, and the pulverized matter is calcined at 1000-1300 deg.C under a oxygen-containing gas atmosphere. Then the calcined matter is pulverized and mixed with an org. binder such as PVA soln., and the mixture is dried, pulverized, compacted, and the compact is burned at about 1000-1400 deg.C under the oxygen-containing gas atmosphere. Thus the dielectric ceramic composition having a composition expressed by formula xLiO1/2 -yNb2 O5/2 -zTiO2 (0.30<=x<=0.60; 0.10<=y<=0.49; 0.05<=z<=0.50; x+y+z=1), containing a crystal of a crystalline structure expressed by formula Li1+a-b Nb1-a-3b Tia+4b O3 (0.04<=a<=0.37; 0<=b<=0.17) and coexisting with the crystal of a Li-Nb-Ti rutile type crystalline structure or a Li2 TiO3 crystal is obtained.
