PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing load by simplifying the transmission type of LAN in collecting the oscillographed waveform data in a monitoring and control device of the power system. SOLUTION: An LANI/F is 17 master stations and each control terminal is a slave station, and the information is transmitted to each other with the prescribed period so as to give the control command while monitoring the system condition between a monitoring and control computer 10 and control terminals 151-15n. The freezing request of the oscillographed waveform data is contained in the information indicated by the master stations to transmit the reference time and the control command. The accident information such as CB trip is contained in the terminal status information front the slave station when the oscillographed waveform data are collected. The master station transmits the freezing request to the slave station when the accident information is recognized in the status, and the respective control terminals 151-15n freeze the data in the buffer area corresponding to the prescribed freezing time at one time.
