PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sliding contact surface from being worn out or prevent an inner ring from being hardly inserted due to inclination of a roller by a method wherein a sliding contact surface of a roller stopper is formed into a diverged shape with its column facing part being widely spreaded and the maximum width of the sliding contact surface is made substantially equal to the maximum width of the roller stopper part. SOLUTION: A column part 2 of a pocket 1 is formed with a roller stopper 3 expanding at a side of the pocket 1, a roller stopper 3 is formed with a flat top end surface, 32 which is continuous with a slant sliding contact surface 31 slidingly contacted with the roller. The sliding contact surface 31 is formed into a diverging shape which is gradually widened from the top surface 32 toward a side of the base part 33, and a base part width having the maximum width of the sliding contact surface 31 is equal to the maximum width of the roller stopper 3. Accordingly, the synthetic resin cage A can expand a contact width with the roller along with a feature that a middle part of the sliding contact surface 31 is contacted with the roller and then a wear of the sliding contact surface 31 can be prevented. In addition, an inclination of the roller can be prevented and in the case that the cage A is applied in the roller bearing having an outer ring flange, the roller is held by the cage A and when the inner ring is inserted into an inner circumference of the roller row, it is possible to prevent disadvantage that it may be hardly inserted into it.
