<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a copying sheet from being jammed in a feeding path by providing the second sorting roller switch-over means with which the sorting roller is returned from positive turning condition to the original following condition after the copying sheet is fed through the sorting roller to a resist roller and the top end of the copying sheet is seized by the resist roller. CONSTITUTION:When the top end of a copying sheet fed to a shorting roller 6 is detected by a switch means SW1 provided upstream the sorting roller 6, the sorting roller 6 is switched over from following condition to positive turning condition by the first switch-over means to be operated according to the detected signal, and the copying sheet is fed through the sorting roller 6 to a first roller 7. After the top end of the copying sheet is seized by the resist roller 7, the sorting roller 6 is returned from the positive turning condition to the original following condition by the second switch-over means. Thus, deflection of the copying sheet due to difference in feeding speed between the resist roller 7 and the sorting roller 6 can be prevented.</p> |
