The control or signalling indicator device comprises a push-button with a body (10) having a head (11) and a tubular axis (12) of diameter less than the head extending through a the mounting wall (13) which may form part of a console or cabinet. Beneath the mounting wall there is a block (20) which is preferably rectangular to house the push-button mechanism. This may be either metallic or plastic. Attached to the push-button mechanism is a contact block (30) which is formed of a rectangular box made of insulating material. On the under side of the switch block (20) there is a rigid hook (40) and a further hook (50) which can be moved in a direction parallel to the mounting wall surface against the action of a spring. These hooks together allow the connection block to be removably attached to the switch block, with a moving element (14) from the switch block engaging a related element in the contact block to actuate the switch contacts. |
