Method and valve for the supply of air/gas by aeration of liquids in an aeration plant comprising several parallel reservoirs which in one end are connected with a common mixing and inlet channel (5), several fans (3) thereby being connected with the mixing channel (5), each fan (3) thereby being connected with the mixing channel (5) by a valve comprising a vertically arranged pipe (6) extending from an upper cover (11) downwardly to a lower float (7) being submerged in the liquid in the channel (5), the cover (11) closing the valve by abutment against an opening when the fan (3), due to the air pressure from the fan against the upper side of the cover, providing less pressure than the buoyancy force from the float (7) when the fan has stopped, and the cover (11) being in an open position when the fan (3) is in operation. |
