PURPOSE:To provide an enhancing agent remarkably enhancing the potencies of agricultural and horticultural antimicrobias such as dicen (zinc ethylenebisdithiocarbamate), maneb and thiuram, having no adverse reaction against various crops and capable of being safely used, by comprising a specific tertiary amine N-oxide. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula I [R1 is 10-14C alkyl or alkenyl; R2 and R3 are CH3, CH2CH3 or (CH2CH2O)pH (p is 1-15)] [particularly preferably a compound of formula II (n is 9-13) or III (x and y are 1-15)] is employed in a weight ratio of preferably 0.5-20 times, particularly 1-5 times, that of the antimicrobia raw material together with an agricultural and horticultural antimicrobia such as the dicen, maneb, thiuram, benlate or difolatan. When used together with the agricultural and horticultural antimicrobia, the potency-enhancing agent does not have any adverse reaction and can raise the potency by 2-3 times. |
