Circuit board connector terminal machining method

The machining method uses an impact tool for deformation of at least one of the terminal clamp solder pins (6), so that it is enlarged transverse to the direction of insertion in the circuit board bore (13), for clamping against the sides of the bore upon insertion of the solder pin. The enlargement of the solder pin is limited to a defined section of the solder pin length, while the extreme end of the solder pin facing the circuit board may retain the original solder pin cross-section.
