PURPOSE:To obtain a syrup agent containing cimetizine, glycyrrhetic acid or salt thereof and capable of retaining sweetness by preventing bitter taste of cimetizine. CONSTITUTION:Cimetizine having strong bitter taste is added to purified water and then hydrochloric acid is added thereto to dissolve the cimetizine and a sweetening agent consisting of glycyrrhetic acid or salt thereof and as necessary additives such as sour agent, fragrance, coloring agent, antiseptic, thickener and solubilizing agent are added to the aqueous solution to obtain the aimed product. The sweetening agent consists of glycyrrhetic acid or salt thereof and sugar, D-sorbitol, saccharin sodium, etc., and total addition amount thereof is about 20-60%. |
