PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweight textile fabric, hardly causing the single filament breakage of constituent fibers in the fabric, having a surface readily rolling waterdrops thereon and water repellent performances excellent in washing and abrasion durabilities. SOLUTION: This durable water repellent textile fabric comprises a modified cross-section-shaped hollow fiber having 1.5-3.5 degree of the modified cross-section and >=1-3 protruding parts having <=10μm width and a length of 1-3 times based on the width on the outer peripheral part of the fiber cross section having 8-45% percentage of hollowness thereof. The surface of the fiber is coated with a water repellent resin film comprising a perfluoroalkyl group-containing acrylate or methacrylate or a copolymer of a compound copolymerizable therewith, a triazine compound, a blocked isocyanate compound and a polymer composed of a polyfluoroolefin containing >=2 fluorine atoms in the constituent unit of the polyolefin. |
