<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the maintenance of stabilized combustion even with a low fuel concentration as well as the securing of a combustion efficiency with a low pressure loss by a method wherein a V-shape ring, engraved with grooves having a whirling angle at the outside part thereof, is installed in a combustion tube to supply mixture gas of fuel and oxygen containing gas to the V-shape ring. SOLUTION: A combustion flame holder 23 is constituted of a concentric V-shape ring 22, installed in a combustion tube 21, made of stainless steel and into which mixture gas is supplied to burn the same. Fifteen pieces of grooves 25, having the depth of 2mm and the width of 1mm, for example, are engraved on the outside surface part 24 of the V-shape ring 22 with a whirling angle of 45 degrees, for example. When mixture gas is supplied to the combustion tube 21 of the combustion flame holder 23, the mixture gas is contacted with the V-shape ring 22 and is disturbed while a part of the mixture gas passes through the center of the V-shape ring 22 and the balance of it arrives at the downstream side of the V-shape ring 22 along the outside surface of the V-shape ring 22 whereby eddy current and whirling flow are generated. In this case, the mixture gas is contacted with the grooves 25 of the V-shape ring 22 whereby the forming of whirling stream is facilitated.</p> |
