A fuel supplying apparatus comprising a fuel tank (11), a fuel pump (12), a pressure regulator (102) and a fuel filter (101) disposed in a fuel line connected between the fuel pump and the pressure regulator for filtering the fuel supplied from the fuel pump. The pressure regulator has an inlet port (35) through which the pressure within the fuel tank is introduced into the diaphragm chamber (33) of the pressure regulator is disposed between a fuel surface level (F) and the ceiling of the fuel tank. The excess fuel discharge port (36a) is disposed in the vicinity of and in a facing relationship to a wall surface (44), which may be provided with a shock absorbing member (41b), of a fuel pump mounting bracket (41), a sub-tank, pressure regulator holder or a barrier. The fuel filter has a hollow cylindrical configuration and the fuel pump together with a mounting bracket for supporting the fuel pump is housed within the hollow cylindrical fuel filter. <IMAGE> |
