PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve diagnosing efficiency by symmetrically positioning a pair of right and left mamma images to display. SOLUTION: As for a pair of right and left mamma images, mamma areas on the images are detected by a detection means 20 based on an image data S thereof. Then, among the mamma areas detected, the midpoint of the end of the mamma area overlapping one side of the image is determined by a center position detecting means 30. Moreover, the ends of the mamma areas are made to face each other by an image display control means 40 and the midpoints thereof are positioned to align each other. Position specifying information I is outputted to a display means 45 and the display means 45 shows an visible image with right and left mamma images positioned based on the position specifying information I and the original image data S. |
