PURPOSE:To prevent elastic rings, which are once cut off from a tube, from sticking again to one another and being formed into a block, make handling easier, improve workability and minimize irregularity in a cut width. CONSTITUTION:In a manufacture of elastic rings, wherein a tube 10 made of elastomer is fitted to a mandrel 11 and, while being rotated around the center line together with mandrel 11, the tube 10 is cut sectionally by the cutting edge of a knife-like cutter 12 thrusted thereinto, a parting agent is sprayed from a nozzle 15 into a portion between the cut end faces 10a of the tube 10 immediately after it is cut off by the knife-like cutter 12. |
