PURPOSE:To provide a solution film formation process which does not suffer from a trouble of forming a film having streaks laterally at both edges or along the entire width of the film and is rejected from its appearance because the peeling strength is excessively large when the film is peeled from a support in the production of a cellulose triacetate film by a solution casting process. CONSTITUTION:A film is formed by a solution film formation process by using a dope prepared by mixing cellulose triacetate synthesized from cotton linter with cellulose triacetate synthesized from wood pulp and using a ratio of the cotton linter to the wood pulp of 50/50-80/20.
