<p>PURPOSE:To increase gas adsorbing capacity of CO, CH4, N2 or O2, by preparing an adsorbent containing 75wt.% or more of Ca-A type zeolite having a specific gas adsorbing characteristic and set to 60% or more in its Ca-ion exchange rate. CONSTITUTION:75wt.% or more of A type zeolite and 25wt.% or less of a clayey binder are mixed and the obtained mixture is molded, dried and baked to form a molded body. This molded body is humidified to be hydrated while the hydrated molded body is immersed in an aqueous calcium salt solution to perform ion exchange. Subsequently, the obtained Ca-A type zeolite molded body is heated to 200-500 deg.C and activated to obtain a zeolite adsorbent for hydrogen PSA. The obtained adsorbent is characterized by that a Ca-ion exchange rate is 60% or more and 75wt.% or more of Ca-A type zeolite is contained.</p> |
