摘要 PURPOSE:To enable an oxide superconductive magnetically shielding body to be enhanced in superconductive characteristics for magnetic shielding by a method wherein a magnetically shielding body has a structure composed of a metal substrate, an intermediate layer, and an oxide superconductive layer, where the metal substrate is high in oxidation resistance, and the metal substrate and the intermediate layer are joined together by diffusion. CONSTITUTION:A magnetically shielding body has a three-layered structure composed of a metal substrate, an intermediate layer, and an oxide superconductive layer, and a metal substrate, an intermediate layer, and an oxide superconductive layer are arranged in this order facing a shielding magnetic source. The metal substrate is excellent in adhesion to the intermediate layer, joined to it by diffusion, and kept stable when the oxide superconductive layer is formed on the intermediate layer. The metal substrate high in resistance to oxidation is used to form a diffusion-junction substrate. That is, the diffusion-junction substrate is kept free from troubles under the burning conditions of oxide superconductor. By this setup, the diffusion-junction substrate can be kept free of troubles such as deterioration in adhesion to the intermediate layer under the burning conditions of oxide super conductor such as high temperature and oxygen enriched atmosphere, so that a magnetically shielding body of this design can be enhanced in reliability and magnetic shielding properties.
