Electronic signal measurement apparatus for the acquisition and display of short-duration analog signal events (12, 14), in the form of a hand-held instrument which includes maximum and minimum signal value detection circuits (24, 26) for capturing the extremes (48, 50) of a rapidly changing analog signal (42).
