<p>PURPOSE: To provide a golf club head having excellent strength. CONSTITUTION: This golf club head is formed by installing a face plate 2 to a head body 1 which is formed by installing an upper body 8 to a lower body 7 erected with a peripheral wall part 5 at a bottom 6 and is opened on the front side. The golf club head is so formed that the face plate 2 projects outward from the opening edge of the head body 1 when the face plate 2 is pressed to the opening edge on the front side of the head body 1. In addition, a recessed part 4 where a welding material 3 accumulates is formed on the outer periphery at the opening edge of the head body 1.</p> |
