PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of a primary air fan by reducing to the utmost dust concentration in air supplied to the primary air fan. SOLUTION: A Ljungstrom air preheater is adapted such that a waste gas inlet 8 and a waste ga's outlet 9 are fixedly provided on one side of a heat exchange element 5 rotating around a rotary shaft 4 peripherally of the same putting the rotary shaft 4 therebetween for flowing waste gas 6 parallelly to the rotary shaft 4, and an air inlet 11 and an air outlet 12 are provided on the other side peripherally of the same for flowing air 7 parallelly to the rotary shaft 4, and further that a primary air takeout pipe 19 communicated with a primary air fan is connected with the air outlet 12. In the preheater, the primary air takeout pipe 19 is connected with a side wall 31 on a low temperature part side at the air outlet 12. |
