PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ascend/descend stopper to enable to ascend /descend a fencing by simple operation and, on the other hand, disable a patient in a bed from easily operating the fencing. SOLUTION: Once one end of a supporting bar 7 is brought into a released state along an oblique guide member 14 from an engaging hole by drawing up a whole face fencing, and then the support bar 7 is constricted by engaging an engaging hook part 13 on the tip ends of engaging arms 8a and 8b of a stopper member 8 with an engaging groove 12 on the support bar 7 against energizing force of a spring member 9 by operating an operation lever 10. In such a state, the whole face fencing can freely be ascended/descended along a leg supporting pillar 2. |
