摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable depth of penetration and to reduce electric power by forming a groove surface having a second difference in level equivalent to the root surface dimension of a thin plate side groove surface between an inclined part and a first difference in level and providing with a prescribed flat part in the groove bottom part. SOLUTION: A inclined part 2b of 45 deg. is formed in the end part to be welded of a thin plate side rim stock 2 with a root surface 2a left. A inclined part 3a of 45 deg. is formed in the end part to be welded of a thick plate side disk stock 3, and a first difference 3b in level, having thickness equivalent to the difference of plate thickness between both plate stock 2, 3 and extending by (b) toward the rim stock 2, is formed. A second difference 3c in level having thickness equivalent to the dimension of the root surface 2a and width (a) is formed between the first difference 3b in level and the inclined part 3a, and a flat part 3d is formed in the V shaped groove bottom part in a condition wherein both plate stock 2, 3 are butted. By this way, when welding aiming at the flat part 3d is performed, the thick plate side of the disk stock 3 is acted with welding heat, and penetration equivalent to that of the rim stock 2 is obtained, whereby stable welding is performed and lower electric power and voltage are set.
