<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release the constraint of a handle for opening and closing a door without a special tool from the rear side of the door by fixing the fixing body of a latch device on the front side of the door by a bolt or a nut rotated and operated from the rear side of the door. SOLUTION: A stud bolt 2 is welded and fastened onto the mounting seat plate 4 of a latch device 6, and the mounting seat plate 4 is fixed onto the fixing body of the latch device 6 by a screw. The male screw section 2a of the stud bolt 2 is inserted into the through-hole 1a of a door 1, and a positioning projecting section 4a formed to the mounting seat plate 4 is engaged with the stopper recessed section 1b of the door 1. The cylindrical section 3c of a nut 3 is fitted rotatably into the through-hole 1a from the rear side, and the female screw section 3b of the nut 3 is engaged with the male screw section 2a of the stud bolt 2. When the nut 3 is rotated by a knob section 3a formed at the base end section of the nut 3, the mounting seat plate 4 of the latch device 6 is clamped and fixed on the front side of the door 1. A hook lever 6a pivoted by the fixing body of the latch device 6 by a pivotal shaft 6b constrains a handle for opening and closing the door at the place of the closing of the door.</p> |
