PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image stability by adding a urea (thiourea) derivative to be expressed by a specified formula as an organic developer and a specified quantity of a polymer which contains a glycidyl methacrylate as a stabilizer in a thermal coloring layer. SOLUTION: This thermal recording sheet comprises a thermal coloring layer which contains a colorless or light color basic colorless dye and an organic developer as main components arranged on a support body. In the thermal coloring layer, a compound to be expressed by formula I or II is added as an organic developer, and 0.01-2 pts. of a polymer which contains a glycidyl methacrylate as a stabilizer is added based on 1 pts. of organic developer to be expressed by formula I or II. In the formulas, A and B represent a hydrogen, a 1-4C alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxy group, a nitro group, R1 -R3 each represents a hydrogen atom, a 1-4C alkyl group, a 1-4C alkoxy group, a hydroxy group, or a nitro group. Also, Y represents a sulfur atom or a chlorine atom. |
