PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the strain or deformation from being generated in an inner side of a folded part by providing notched parts at least on the inside in the direction of a part with slits to be bent. SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger 6, a large number of plate fins 9 in Fig. (a) are laminated in the perpendicular direction to the paper, side plates 10 in Fig. (b) are positioned and laminated on each end, and U-shaped tubes for the heat exchanger are inserted in insertion holes 11..., 12..., in the plate fins 9 and the side plates 10. In the heat exchanger 6, the plate fins 9 are cut and detached by inserting two slits at dashed lines and folded to be formed to the prescribed shape before the heat exchanger is assembled with an indoor unit. Notches 15, 16 are provided in each side part on the windward side and on the leeward side, and the notch 16 is functions as a recess to prevent mutual interference of upper, middle and lower corner parts of the plate fins 9 cut when the heat exchanger 6 is folded. |
