PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which makes it possible to operate by energy conservation by effectively preventing the heat loss of cold air via a door packing. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a cold air flow altering protrusion 33 provided in an indoor ceiling surface 31 to alter the wind direction so that the cold air diffused from the depth toward this die of the door 9 is not brought into direct contact with a door packing 8, and a cold air downspout preventing wall 34 provided at the upper rear of the door near the protrusion to eliminate the escape of the cold air toward the packing to guide it inward in the refrigerator to reduce the cold air in contact with the packing as much as possible to raise the cooling efficiency to prevent the heat loss of the cold air, thereby making it possible to contribute to the energy conservation. |
