PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a process in which a complex pocket shape can be molded easily by deep drawing irrespective of sheet materials, the positional accuracy among a pocket, a sprocket hole, and a pocket bottom hole is kept stably, high speed molding is possible, and continuous operation for a long period and the simplification of grade change are made possible by minimizing the abrasion of a mold. SOLUTION: This carrier tape is equipped with a pocket for receiving electronic parts, etc., and a sprocket hole for transferring at regular intervals. A heat-softened thermoplastic resin sheet 1 is put into a pocket molding part 7, a stripper plate is brought down, a pocket 14 is molded by inputting compressed air while parts of the sheet other than the pocket molding part being pressed, a sprocket hole is punched by a sprocket hole piercing punch 25, and the pocket 14 is discharged by a knockout mechanism 23 to be sent to the next process. |
