PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a propylene-based polymeric resin composition as a molding material excellent in coating adherability even in non-primer case to such an extent as to enable omitting trichloroethane treatment as a coating pretreatment process, and excellent in rigidity, low-temperature impact resistance, moldability and molded product appearance, etc., and to obtain a molding material for the sheathing parts for automobiles and home appliances, etc., by using the composition. SOLUTION: This resin composition excellent in coatability essentially comprises (A) a polymer (a1) prepared by polymerizing a combination of an aromatic vinyl monomer with a polar functional group-contg. vinyl monomer in the presence of a propylene-based polymer under melt kneading state or a blend of the polymer (a1) with a propylene-based polymer (a2) and (B) an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer prepared by copolymerization between ethylene and an olefin selected from propylene and 4-8Cα-olefins. The other objective molded product is obtained by using this resin composition.
