Increasing immune response to tumour cells by increasing expression of TAP or LMP proteins

Immune response to a tumour cell is increased by introducing into the cells nucleic acid (I) encoding TAP and/or LMP proteins, then expressing it to increase the intracellular concn. of these proteins. Also new are: (1) a method for detecting tumour antigens (TAg); (2) tumour cells contg. (I); and (3) a method for producing cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) against autologous tumour cells.
