Method of fixing explosion barrier in underground mining and tunnelling operations

The barrier is equipped with water pockets which are antistatic and flame retardant, fixed to support bars (20,24). The bars comprise a number of tube sections (21,22) with two different cross-section surfaces. The tube section with the smallest cross-section fits telescopically into the tube section with the larger cross-section surface. The bars engage with holding components such as cap claws (16), holed strips (15) or chains (14) onto hooks (18,19) which are fixable to the underground surface. The tube sections comprise four-sided structures with two different interengaging cross-section surfaces. The hooks are made of flat iron and have the form of an upwardly open rectangle with arms of different lengths.
