Heating unit having PTC element as resistance heating element

The heating unit is produced with a profiled section channel that has a series of concentric rings A-C each of which have radial ribs for efficient heat transfer. The unit is produced of a material with good heat conducting properties. At the centre of this is a profiled chamber(14) for installation of a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resistance heating element. Linear key shaped elements are used as a means of installing the PTC element.
