Folding backrest with height adjustable headrest

The folding backrest has a height-adjustable headrest. Its carrier rod (4) fits in a holder in the backrest. There is a locking device to hold the headrest in a set selected position. There is a storage device (6) for the selected position. A drive device (13,15,16,19) is also fitted. The drive operates during or before the forward tilting of the backrest, causing the headrest to move out of its stored setting position to its lowest position. When or after the backrest is tilted forward, it causes the headrest to move back to the stored setting position.
